PacSafe CitySafe 200 Anti-Theft Handbag

Very well made, lots of compartments.

I have had owned a PacSafe CitySafe 100 Anti-Theft Handbag for four years and found it a bit small. The new PacSafe CitySafe 200 Anti-Theft Handbag I have just purchased is great but I would prefer one about halfway between the two ideal.

I bought this bag after much research and after reading over 200 reviews on line. I was looking for a safe, secure, and attractive bag to be all purpose for my trip to Europe. So far I am very pleased . The color I choose wasw the taupe and I am glad that I did. It is a deep enough color to not show dirt but is a very neutral shade to complement every season's wardrobe.

I took the purse/bag with me to the Alps in Northwest Italy(Aosta)as well as to the very congested city of Rome. One of the people traveling with me had their wallet stolen by pic-pockets. No one even bothered me. I felt I was not a viable target because the bag has so many safety features. Fellow travelers asked me about the bag, especially when I locked the strap around the chair I sat in at restaurants and at the ski lodge in the mountains. The weatherproof fabric of the bad repelled rain and snow. I had no worries about carrying a wet bag or of the contents of the bag getting ruined. On the slopes, it held hats, gloves, tissues, euros and lots of other items and then the normal things you carry in Rome waiting in long lines, walking on crowded streets, metros and buses (can't forget the shopping!) I liked the way one of the side pockets for water expanded to accommodate varying sizes of bottles. The large outside pocket was great for my maps & guide book. Of course the other side pocket held my umbrella. Super organized and safe! I plan to order the CitySafe 100 for my trips to D.C. when family visit.

I first purchased this bag while living in Europe. There are many places--Paris, Berlin, Rome, where pickpockets abound and are on the look out for tourists and other easy targets. From the tamper proof zipper which locks access the main compartment to the slashproof straps and body of the bag, I always felt secure. The straps are long enough to wear it across the body--the safest way to carry a bag, and it is very comfortable doing so. Once, in Paris, I looked down to see that the outside zipper compartment had been opened, but not by me. Knowing that was the only vulnerable part of the whole bag, I didn't keep anything important in there, so nothing was touched. It was then that I realized that had I been carrying a regular bag, my wallet would have been gone. Fortunately, it was safely stowed inside the secure part of my wonderful PacSafe bag. It more than paid for itself that day. I love the organization and compartments inside the bag so much that I carried it year round. It is amazing how much you can carry in this bag, and it still manages to look compact. I also found the outside umbrella and water bottle pockets very handy. The fabric shows very little dirt and is easy to keep clean--I have it in black. I own 4 other PacSafe bags, but this one is my favorite. After 3 years of near constant use, I decided to get a new one, hence my purchase from TamperSeal. Love the new little improvements over my old model. It continues to be my favorite purse ever and the one I use all the time, both for traveling and for every day use.

Fantastic anti-theft bag. Enough compartments, easy to organize and carry. Anti-theft features are perfect for traveling in risky places (I frequently go to East Africa).

Used it on a week-long trip to Hawaii in December. Liked all the pockets for organization, especially pockets on each end which made sunglasses and cell phone easily accessible. Cross-body strap keeps both hands free for luggage, etc. This will definitely be my "traveling purse," but I'll continue to use a smaller bag for everyday use.

I recently traveled to Europe and felt relaxed with my cards and money secured.
